Download Netdom 1.8

Apr 20, 2016 netdom -windows 7. Windows 7 IT Pro. I want to use the netdom for renaming the computer. By default the netdom is not available in windows 7. Nov 27, 2003 Hi You can use the command line utility netdom.exe from MS to do this. You can use Netdom.exe version 1.8 to move the computer to a workgroup, then.
I realize this may be a moot point for the original poster but all you need to do is copy two files from your local DC. Installing RSAT seems like a huge waste of time if all you wanna do is join machines to a domain. Cara Mudah Hack Password Email Yahoo. BTW, those to files are on your DC here: C: Windows System32 netdom.exe C: Windows System32 en-US netdom.exe.mui On the client machines they go in the exact same directory you got them from (except on they go on your client machines). Hope this helps someone from having to needlessly install RSAT.
Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsnt.domain () I have encountered an issue with my NT server PDC and several workstations not authenticating and not being granted access to the domain. I hve followed the advice on several posts in this topic but have hit a bit of a wall. I do not have the original Resource Kit (I am a Windows Admin taking over where the previous admin left no documentation nor had all of the servers updated ). It would appear Netdom.EXE would allow me to remedy my situation but I am unable to find it on any microsoft or other web site. Can anyone help me locate the old NT4 Resource Kit or the Netdom file(s) needed to reset the security channel? I did download the Resource Kit Suppliment that provided NLTest but I am concerned that it will reset every system's SC and cause further havoc. Thanks in advance, Frank G.
