I would assume it is since it's pretty much the same other than the grips/headblock. The sport does look like an extremely easy build. Where are you putting the ESC? It looked like people have been installing them under the bottom plate, and I wouldn't really want to put mine there.

I mounted the esc on the left side of the frame,gyro under the reciver tray and reciver on the top of the rx tray dont know how this will work out but we will see still waiting on cyclic servos This is by far the best align heli i have built as far as quailty goes. Everyhting is super silky smooth there is no slop at all its just so easy to put togther too. Only complaint i have is the canopy is a very tight fit and i wish the bottom tray extended out further like the v2 so i could mount the ecs there instead hopefully servos will arrive tommorow so i can setup the head and fly!!!!
